Summary: Increase in PC sales “not enough to keep [Microsoft] sales from declining from year-ago levels,” writes Collins Stewart analyst

AN HOUR ago, the Associated Press pretty much confirmed what we predicted would happen later this week. Microsoft is expected to disappoint, which is why the release of Vista 7 was scheduled for the same time, in order to bury the bad news. █

    Given the media is so desperate for cheap content, all they have to do is simply not push out a press release to umpteen newspapers to quite effectively bury it.
