More EPO Lies and SEO SPAM, Substance Protected Behind a Paywall of the EPO's Propaganda Arm, IAM
An old and gender-inclusive trade called "journalism" is a dying breed when lies become the product or the service. They're looking to 'monetise' mass deception. They try to counter hard evidence with a high volume (quantity) of lies.
Adam Houldsworth is one of those paid liars, working for Mr. Wild on producing patent propaganda for clients. Juve does exactly the same thing these days. This is what happens when patent issues aren't covered by scientists*.
So there's this new 'article' which is just "person says", i.e. no fact-checking. The full version is locked behind a SUEPO paywall, so it's merely a choice of paywalls.
EPO management feels the pinch because everyone, even prolific patent filers, speaks about the EPO's corruption. Campinos et al hired Stephen Rowan to lie with a Welsh/English accent, that is all (in this case, SEO on EPO "patent quality" and "transparency", drowning out all the actual information, thanks to the propaganda arm which the EPO subsidises).
Mr. Rowan is not a patent expert. He made no scientific discovery either. He makes money from deceiving people. He fits the stigma of high-paying jobs necessitating doing bad things.
He's also outsourcing the EPO to Microsoft (US). █

* Contrariwise, there are efforts by the Central Staff Committee (mostly examiners, i.e. scientists) to keep facts right. Last week it told staff:
