Microsoft Windows Falling to New Lows in the United Kingdom and Worldwide
Do not fall for media noise in BillBC et al; Microsoft is not doing well and there have been layoffs every month this year
TODAY is the middle of this month and the United Kingdom numbers from statCounter show Windows back down to 65% on desktops/laptops (ChromeOS+GNU/Linux at about 7%). Looking at the international numbers, Windows has sunk to almost 26% of the market (given that Android is growing, especially in poorer places).
What's noteworthy here is that there's no sign at all of a Windows rebound! None! Microsoft has no idea what to do! The profits associated with Windows are falling rapidly and Microsoft loses countless billions on the "AI" hype.
Here in the UK, Bill Gates-funded media keeps talking about some Microsoft "AI" office (no links; we'd rather not), part of the political bribery by Microsoft, but the real news is in the data, not the spin from the BillBC (BBC). █
