Microsoft ("a Dying Megacorporation that Does Not Create") and IBM: An Era of Dying Giants With Leadership Deficits and Corporate Bailouts (Subsidies From Taxpayers)
Money down the drain. Taxpayers foot the bill (for Bill).
Disregard the "Hey Hi" (AI) smokescreen or Ponzi scheme, which deepens Microsoft's losses a lot more than anything and results in soaring debt. What has Microsoft really had to show in recent years? Almost nothing!
As one person put it, "it's a dying megacorporation that does not create," this one comment said, "see IBM [...]"
Another newer comment said: "Yup. What do Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, US Steel, Bethlehem Steel, and Lehman Bros all have in common? They ALL went to the very brink of bankruptcy or else went completely over the falls despite having had virtually every competitive advantage imaginable on their sides. What's the problem? Bad management- which is the most common form of management. That's why something like forty percent of all companies that survive their infancy don't make it to their fifth anniversaries. If MS isn't careful, it will be next. If you want to protect your job, read a piece titled The Hatchet Man's Playbook. It's all about lay offs and corporate politics and how to beat them. All the best!"
Microsoft seems to be resorting to lots of bribes and chasing of bailouts (i.e. money from taxpayers worldwide). We'll cover this in another, separate post. Maybe it'll be part of another batch of videos (later in the weekend). █
