Guest post:

I found something here which almost made me double over and vomit. I can't believe it!

DebConf24 welcomes its sponsors!

A Gold Sponsor is this: "Microsoft, who enables digital transformation for the era of an intelligent cloud and an intelligent edge. Its mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more."

You've got to be FUCKING KIDDING ME.

I wouldn't be surprised if Debian is undermined by Microsoft in the long run, which of course I know could be one of their sinister goals.

Look how many distros are based on Debian!

For one thing, that is.

Look at the mess which is snaps in Ubuntu.

IMO Ubuntu/Canonical should just be considered to be a lost cause and Microsoft should just outright buy them out.

Not that I favor it, but I find it to be eventual anyway...

Now to get inside and rot out Debian would be a grand accomplishment for Microsoft.

I'm just TIRED of the public doing NOTHING in regards to the continued monopoly and dirty tricks of Microsoft.

I suppose you've already read about this news, but if not, please spread the information! I'm actually shocked at this bullshit.

In the past, when I've read about a company or individual standing against Microsoft and in such a place where they WON'T allow Microsoft to fuck them over, time and time again, like clockwork, they eventually come out and say they are either now a partner with and/or their attitude has changed, like something out of a body snatchers movie.

I mean, they undergo a complete transformation!

Do they dispatch a bunch of hookers and blow or something or do they participate in blackmail?

It's just unfucking canny.

It seems like wherever and whenever Microsoft wants to be somewhere or do something, a situation always presents itself with a golden key and they get what they want.

Please note this is a guest post which we didn't editorialise, sanitise, or censor. This is how some people truly feel.
