They Always Attack Institutions by Attacking Their Heads (and Their Lawyers)

In Wikileaks' case, that would be not only Julian Assange but also his associates (e.g. Jérémie Zimmermann receiving highly threatening letters and Jake Appelbaum being calls "rapist" by the same people who attack and defame Linus Torvalds and Richard Stallman... and now attack both my wife and I)

I know quite a bit about Julian Assange and Wikileaks because I read and wrote about them (many times before). I also spoke to them. One despicable thing I witnessed - but also learned from - is the attack on people inside Wikileaks and the nature of such attacks. I tried to sort of inoculate myself against these and I learned not to back down. Concessions is how one loses the battles, e.g. fake accounts, fictional accusations and so on. Don't give them an inch; they'll try to grab a yard or a mile.

Several years ago the tabloid media that's aligned with the racists started spying on and picking on the barrister of Julian Assange*. She asked me not to link to their stuff; she was obviously hurt by what they had done. Her reputation (or employment at Doughty Street Chambers in London) was at stake and some barristers would just walk away at that stage, fearing for their career if not for their life. Lethal action sometimes starts with over-the-top stalking.

This is the way the world works, especially when one exposes rich criminals.

* They have even targeted the barrister of Julian Assange, even in recent years:
