Microsoft is in Trouble and Microsofters Know It
For a very long time Steam measured GNU/Linux at about 1% and now it's approaching 3% (those are gamers who embrace DRM)Updated less than an hour ago:
Judging by what's happening in DRMland (Steam [1, 2]), American sites, and many other metrics, GNU/Linux is rising fast. All Microsoft has to offer now is proprietary formats in its "simple" text editor or some lousy DOS text editor that's nowhere near nano features-wise. An associate has just noticed that Microsoft is still paying IDG to spam the Web with "Sunk Cost Fallacy" SPAM because "Microsoft fears open formats and the vendor independence which they enable."
The rest of the day today will be spent looking at some new figures from statCounter, which released them hours ago. █
