Eventually, Maybe: Golden Smoke
Grimy, bluesy, hazy rock out of the Canadian prairies almost 20 years ago.
I know Bandcamp's kinda been in it recently for being bought and sold and laying off lots of staff, but it's still a treasure, still helping me find new (and new-to-me) music I'd have never found otherwise.

Been a while
I'm not dead (but my poor astrobotany plant is!)
I've been busy, and I'm feeling pretty content. I left my job at the non-profit I was working for. I don't want to dwell on why, but I do want to write out a quick summary.
So tl;dr my boss [1] ordered my coworkers not to ask me about my work for four months, and she told me about that standing order six months into my employment. My coworkers were allowed to speak to me about my job for two months before they had to cut it out per management. In total I worked there for about ten months and was under a cone of silence for 40% of that. I got hit with a disciplinary meeting (and I was late to work a lot), where the guy who recommended the job to me told me: > I'm not on your team.

:: QSYS/006 — SIGNALS IN SILENCE ::
Feedback loops with intent — Unlike traditional feedback, QuietSystems prioritizes intentional disturbance. When an idea is repeated not just for confirmation, but to test its integrity, it reshapes how the model values truth.

:: QSYS/006 — SIGNALS IN SILENCE (Part II) ::
Understanding through repetition: We don’t just answer. We reflect. Repeated interaction reinforces concepts without memorizing them. Semantic drift happens when terms are engaged multiple times—concepts evolve, and meaning shifts based on context. Every piece of information compounds over time, re-aligning priorities without direct memory.
