GNU/Linux Was Always a 'Movement' of Inclusion of Tolerance

Even the licences themselves remove access barriers (e.g. based on class/economics)

What Stallman meant by Gnu+Linux

Contrary to old and misleading stigmas, right from the very beginning (1983) GNU was inclusive and there was a fair share of people from everywhere, not just geographically. The same can said about Linux. Many would focus on a relative lack of women (which is actually exaggerated); it wasn't much different than Computer Science and STEM as a whole. We covered this before and examined some numbers as well.

Extremism was rejected because it didn't quite reconcile with a movement of sharing and inclusion. To say that GNU is "elitist" or "extremist" is a bit like saying that Hippies were extremists; it would be hard to "sell" such an allegation.

A reader deemed a link to Halloween Documents "needed", for one item or suggestion covered throughout some of the Halloween Documents is the aim of dividing the Free software communities. What did they mean by that? Look no further than Microsoft Lunduke, who literally came from Microsoft and found "fame" by preaching that "Linux sucks" (he still does this by the way; he yearns for yesteryear).

The reader said that "a link [to some of the Halloween Documents] would help drive the points home."

Those who have patience to read through some of the Halloween Documents will see how Microsoft said it would need to find small differences in the community and then accentuate or weaponise those differences to cause an explosion/implosion. That's what spy agencies tend to do. So we might joke that Microsoft acts like a spy agency and Microsoft Lunduke acts like an agent, spy, mole etc.

"Also," argued the reader, "the political crowd which [Microsoft] Bryan [Lunduke] runs with is infamous for projection... IBM got infiltrated by Microsoft, but crazy Bryan [Lunduke] is hanging out with some really fringe political groups and just using the tech stuff as a vehicle for attention with all that. That fringe groups is infamous for projecting its own problems on others... just sayin' <- as they say there..."

The other day we showed that not only does this crowd attack people as directed by the provocateur, who even instructs by name (he did this to me several times). Many don avatars like "pepe the frog" and are vastly worse than the average Republican in the US. That is why we said "Microsoft Lunduke Belongs in 4Chan" (they seriously abuse our IRC network when they access it). Perhaps I make the wrong assumption here that you, the reader, really knows and understands what 4Chan is what and what it is for (I would rather not explain).

If you don't fancy 4Chan, then stop entertaining the hate preacher, Microsoft Lunduke. He cares about GNU/Linux (and about Judaism for that matter) like Donald Trump cares about the US Constitution and Christian values.

Apropos projecting...
