Denver employees say the city may remotely notify workers of layoffs
The city has not revealed its layoff plans for now, but some city workers are coming forward with what they are hearing about how it may happen.
FOX31 interviewed a street maintenance employee with the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure about the layoffs.
“I’m just mainly nervous anxious, just wondering how I am going to provide,” said Richard.
He is also a member of Local 17, a union that represents DOTI workers along with Denver city workers at Denver International Airport and Parks and Recreation.
