Back from a trip and more distro hopping
I am back from a short work trip: just three days over to England.
These trips are always quite tiring as my work days goes on from breakfast to dinner with not much alone time.
I landed back home on Wednesday night, spent yesterday just existing, and today I am finally able to spend some time on my hobbies.
Thankfully, I have a few days off now, which I intend to use for rest and relaxation.
I wanted to try Yunohost or Freedombox to self host a couple of projects, and both can be installed on top of Debian, so I hopped from Pop!_OS to pure Debian on my "hobby laptop", tried both systems, realised my internet provider is really not the best for making the machine reachable from the outside, and went back to just pure Debian again.

Part Time
Today is my first Friday not working (except for holidays). After only 7 years of working 5 days a week, I've had enough and dropped down to 4. That's 32 hours, with a 20% salary cut.
Working full time was not sustainable for me, at least in this job. I never felt fresh after a weekend, and a workday evening isn't enough time to really do anything besides eat and prepare for the next day. The only times I feel like I actually had enough time to enjoy a weekend were the occasional 3 day weekends of bank holidays. So why not make every weekend a 3 day weekend?

Conphlogence
I'm making this post using my ROOPHLOCH setup, a few days too late for it to count as a second entry, but I feel like I want to make a habit of actually using this strange little rig from time to time.
I made a bunch of resolutions/goals at the beginning of this year. I've done pretty well with some of them (e.g. my monthly mountain visits) but others not so well. I've done shockingly little recreational cycling, for example, not even sure why. And I haven't visited a single river confluence...

That's no beta
This one may be easier for the German speaking members of the audience, but the "B"-like character in Brogue is not a beta.
