EPO "Cocaine Communication Manager" - Part II - Illegal Drug Addicts Mobbing the Wrong People, This Will Definitely Backfire
The downfall of the nepotists high on ego (and drugs)

In Part I of this EPO series we mentioned some personal accounts of EPO insiders. A lot of the Office seems to be on the verge of collapse; some parts of the Office (not just patent examination, the lion's share of people on strike) are dysfunctional, with insiders so very utterly sick of what they see. Several of them speak to us. The Office is aware of this because of series we ran as early of December. We gave some of the culprits an opportunity to reply, a chance to defend themselves. They chose to remain totally silent instead. At least they cannot argue that we didn't bother reaching out first.
There may be a film about EPO scandals. It seems that by mobbing the wrong people, the cokehead (chronic cocaine user) Luis Berenguer Giménez - probably the closest ally of António Campinos (who still protects him), he has created a "monster" that will be outside of control.
"They brought me in after I was 25 years freelance with a good resume," told us a victim of the mobbing by Luis Berenguer Giménez and his ilk, "and Luis created through my line manager a very hostile and mobbing atmosphere against me, so that he can bring his own Ali Cante people. I am a video producer at the EPO and now I got sick, since they're mobbing me like hell."
We heard from other people in the same department. It's imploding.
Some of the people who participated in the mobbing are also connected to Benoît Battistelli, who broke many laws at the office and later ran away "into hiding". Some will be named and they definitely had an opportunity to respond.
In the next part, some time in the weekend, we'll do a "smell test" of the EPO, upwards.
Journalists and examiners would be wrong to assume that drug abuse is limited to Luis Berenguer Giménez.
This year may well be the last year of Team Campinos. Nobody will hire them after that. Take a hint from what happened to Jesper Kongstad a decade ago. There's always a limit on how much cheating or how long the cheating can go on for. The biggest victim, at the end, will be the EPO's reputation. People's opinion of the EPO became very negative and even the largest stakeholders habitually blast the Office (sometimes in public). Instability at the EPO is ultimately bad for Europe. There's a growing perception that the EPO works against Europe, not for Europe, and for the benefit of few corrupt officials who infiltrated it and serve a "shallow industry" (like Team UPC). █
