Update on Slop About "Linux"
Articles containing words like "Linux" (or lowercase, "linux") are abundant, but many of them are fake. Many are just a drunken utterance of LLMs. We've managed to identify the main offenders - sites like linuxiac, linuxsecurity, ubuntupit, linuxjournal, fosslinux, and linuxteck.
Most of the time, more so in recent months, searching Google News for "Linux" results in mostly real articles, with few exceptions. This week we noticed this one anomaly (a slopfarm):

"Linux" is a term many people are interested it, so it's not shocking that slopfarms target it. For now, however, we are not seeing a lot of slop about "Linux" except from very few domains that went rogue and are still somewhat active. We'll casually mention their names so that people are aware and those domains will - eventually - perish. █
