Intercontinental Brigading - Part XXIX - Undermining US Election While Engaging in Lawfare in England (BBC) Against Publishers That Cover Anti-Election Violence

Moments ago:

Supreme Court rejects Trump administration push to set aside thousands of California ballots

"The swift rejection capped a string of losses for the president’s effort to intervene in the election before the counting of ballots to decide who controls Congress in the last two years of his second term. No justices publicly dissented."

The elephant in the room is back doors in voting machines (FEC cannot prevent this):

I need to be able to access every PC or server in the world to break or brick it, to spy on it; No problem, Mr. President, Restricted Boot will do that

Yesterday we shared reports [1, 2] about voting machines being impacted by bugdoors or backdoors (sometimes spelled "back doors") in UEFI and/or "Restricted Boot". The problem remains unsolved as there are always severe holes. As recently as days ago there was another very critical flaw. Guess who intentionally does not talk about it.

This endangers democracy everywhere. In 2016 and in early 2017 Democrats accused Russia of breaking into voting machines. Even the US Green Party got involved. Election outcomes were challenged in several states.

We now know that existing flaws let foreign states or "MAGA operatives" (RMS calls them "Magats") tamper with machines and - inter alia - with election outcomes.

It's not going to be too shocking and unprecedented. In 2021 the dictator used actual violence against the election. When the BBC (in another continent) did a report about it the dictator sued it in London. He's basically bullying critics while doing illegal things and attacking the constitution of his country. This text - the Constitution - does not constitute computer security. Nowadays the US actively undermines security in pursuit of back doors. Microsoft does it with the NSA and Microsoft pays British people to implant back doors in Linux. This is digital imperialism with the veneer of a bow tie or really awful (violent) language. For taking on this issue I've been receiving death threats.

Citizens of this planet must learn to care. The transatlantic repression and bullying is all about oligarchs' domination over the rest of us. █
