Intercontinental Brigading - Part IX - Literature About Malignant Narcissists in America Silencing the Press
There's a price for criticising abuses
Previous Parts:
When the GGG brigade ("Restricted Boot" Garrett, "Microsoft Plagiarism" Graveley & "Gas The Jews" Lozza) decided to take on us it was not motivated by any regard for truth. For instance, Graveley's attorney had already sent me material confirming the charges and Graveley himself had begged me several times.
The hate crimes committed against my wife - a subject alluded to by the judge in charge of media at the High Court - were totally unwarranted. The judge mentioned this because not just me but also my family suffered online abuse which we did not instigate. The judge devoted some text to that. She sympathised a bit, but she also recognised we could not afford to spend like a million pounds on litigation. It should be noted that Garrett is still spending hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to put my wife in prison. Given what Garrett did to his own spouse, none of this is "out of character" for Garrett. This is just who he is, that's the character or the type of person he is. His crude verbal communications (which he tries to dismiss as mere "jokes" when pressed) are consistent with the way he thinks.
Today we wish to mention a book that covers SLAPPs. The summary of its thesis on this topic is not unfamiliar and we don't try to 'promote' it, just to point out that this is becoming more common knowledge. Likewise, as noted yesterday morning, "DARVO is now in the dictionary. That's a win for abuse survivors" (article from Salon).
One book about autocracy/oligarchy which we're told us rather good is Autocracy Inc by Anne Applebaum. There's also The Nerd Reich by Gil Durán. Similar points might also be mentioned in Careless People by Sarah Wynn-Williams.
According to TechCrunch, there's an effort to crack down on journalists and a "Thiel-backed startup" now "risks chilling whistleblowers" (such as Sarah Wynn-Williams).
It is widely known that Thiel attacked the press for correctly reporting on him. A lot of news sites covered that, almost certainly The Nerd Reich as well, because it mentions Gawker (in the context of Thiel) at least twice. Earlier this year Gil Durán spoke "on Big Tech Fascism, Peter Thiel" and more. Quoting Democracy Now! by the summary:
A new book by longtime Bay Area journalist Gil Durán investigates “tech fascism” and its mounting influence on U.S. politics. The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy follows the rise of Vice President JD Vance, the former venture capitalist whose “outsider” campaign for Senate was bankrolled by the billionaire co-founder of PayPal and Palantir, Peter Thiel. Durán traces the ideological lineage of the current Trump administration back from Vance to Thiel and the far-right-wing monarchist Curtis Yarvin, whose “right-libertarian” political theory has long made the rounds among Silicon Valley elite. “These guys were never libertarians,” says Durán. “Now that they are the government, we see their true face: They’re fascists, and they’re authoritarians.”
I correctly reported and made accurate predictions about the Restricted Boot trajectory, a project controlled by Microsoft. That's what the UK's High Court ought to look into, but GGG and their facilitators throw like a million pounds into SLAPPs and attempt to put my family in prison (they keep lying to judges).
That leaves me, perhaps inevitably, as little by an investigative journalist and litigant who focuses on publishing suppressed information while attracting SLAPPs.
That my work has attracted abusive litigation is perhaps unsurprising.
It all began in 2012 because I politely opposed back doors in Linux and supported Software Freedom. █
