WE CHOSE not to comment on that Linux.com article. This was partly because I implicitly promised Bruce not to give him much flak anymore (and yes, there's plenty of history there). A few things ought to be noted, however.
“The article bothered never to explain what was wrong with this treasonous deal.”The most unfortunate thing is that the article said almost nothing about the Novell/Microsoft deal. The article bothered never to explain what was wrong with this treasonous deal. It did not strive to educate the reader. Instead, it escaped to some sidal issues like a single published sentence that was taken out of context and described as an "attack", despite being a polite observation.
Anyway, it's not worth beating the bushes over this. Let's carry on. The site's traffic exceeded 100 gigabytes this month and we continue to grow at a steady pace (each month for the past 12 months showed a climb in page views). Most readers are too shy to comment under the heading "Boycott Novell", which is a name that Shane chose. Even if you choose to lurk (i.e. remain invisible), your passive participation is greatly appreciated because without readership, there would be no desire to explore and to write. ⬆

Aside from this evidence, people should also read your IRC logs, where this active collaboration is plain to see (assuming you don't decide to 'lose' them one of these days), although for some reason you keep claiming he's "just a reader". But I guess evidence is only valid when you or your friends provide it.

To tell you the real story: MS finally has learned that even pushing crap (vista) down forcefully your throat only goes that far: People are willing to vomit the crap up (and downgrade to XP). So now they absuletly must win the common minds of the net prior to releasing vista 7, to prevent another publicily built image, that vista 7 = crapware 2.0. They do that by buying into the minds and hearts of the "free bloggers", as can be seen by a substantial absolut pro review-buzz about vista 7 these days (even console-centric game-sites nothing but praising shit-ware they havent even seen themselves...)
So the real sad thing to see is YOU discrediting those who try to uncover the real nymshifters at work: MS and their assf**king legions.
Orwell can see his predictions with Novell/MS-shit at work here: Newspeak at its finest!

This has never been a good reason for indulging in black-hat activities. If you have any troll-friends, it would be the right thing to do to tell them to stop, whatever it is they are doing.

Here's your non-friend 'twitter' engaging in another round of nymshifting just this morning:
http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=1014397&cid=25585851
Even "stick to the topic" and "yes, I know who you are" from other Slashdot users are apparently not a deterrent. Notice the .sig on the 'westbake' account to the tune of "I am a name troll". No trolls here, no sirree.
twitter continues to actively promote your website with his sockpuppet accounts:

Should I post a link to the IRC logs where you discuss the promotion of BN and the creation of content for the site with him? I don't want to have this comment marked as spam because of an excess of links.
What about his supporting anonymous posts in Linux.com? And it's not hard to imagine that the rah-rah comments about BN in the ITWire article are probably all posted by him. It's obviously a hard habit to break, the multiple personality thing.

Silly trolls, collaboration is what BN is all about. Are you here to try and stop that?

And all twitter has apparently are playground insults, off-context links and "this is a holy crusade, all tactics are acceptable and you work for M$" insinuations.

twitter hi ho schestowitz Coming tomorrow: Microsoft’s ‘reality check’ financial report. twitter I think I’ll write a summary of the case against Novell. Sort of an introduction. It should not be too hard because all the work has already been done. schestowitz Please do. schestowitz Some people ask for it… even in Linux.com twitter Give me a day or two and I’ll have it. schestowitz Although books are a thing of the past, a book could be composed about it too. twitter We can bounce it back and forth, get it nice and concise. schestowitz I already have summaries. schestowitz Not up to date though twitter Sure, I’ll look around and string them into a quickie. Something to frame M$’s pervasive influence and behavior and how that is all exhibited in the Novell deal. schestowitz People don’t read though. schestowitz They view pictures and big fonts. twitter That's why I’ll make it short, using lots of links. I don’t have to explain why software patents suck because RMS has done it very well. twitter The most important parts come from M$ and Novell executives. Their own words reveal what they are doing. schestowitz Yes
Coupled with constant "this and that recommended|mentioned|etc by reader X or Y" lines used in your posts, I'd say you're grasping at straws here.
And I see this twitter person has you all sold on the the 'hate' angle. Everyone hates him, apparently. Anyone who disagrees with him hates him and everything he likes. And he hates everyone and everything. Hate, hate, hate. And the hilarity of 'they hate Slashdot' while operating two dozen accounts there, of course. Have you noticed he claims he creates accounts because he has been unfairly modded down, but suddenly decides he has important business elsewhere when someone points to his shill threads?

That's generally when all of my accounts are out of comments. Your censorship has been effective like that but it just goes to show the all out nature of your attack and it's failure. You have wanted to run me off of Slashdot for years, but I'm still there and looked on well enough to be carried on the front page. Your games and libel have been ineffective.

Oh really? Can you explain this then? Or this? Were you by any chance planning on replying to yourself that way with the same account, but it just sort of ran out of comments or whatever?
My censorship? You don't even know who I am on Slashdot. And as much as you would like to dream on, I'm not any of the people who normally reply to you to correct your lies and flamebait. I think I've posted maybe two replies to posts of yours on Slashdot, including one time when you petulantly called me a troll because I corrected something stupid you said about Windows. Of course, to you that means I must work for Microsoft, since I don't lie about them or hate them with the same sincere abandon as you.
The Slashdot community thinks you are a pox on them, and that's why you have 14 accounts that post below the default karma level. It's really that simple. If you really believe otherwise, I suggest you contact Rob Malda and tell him that I've successfully subverted his web site. Don't forget to mention you have 14 accounts :)
Oh, I see. You're just deeply embarrassed by the fact that so many people loathe you, so you see everyone that disagrees with you as one large amorphous mass of "trolls". Got it. You know, I think that's a disease, and I'm pretty sure there's even a name for it in the annals of psychiatry.
I suspect that has absolutely nothing to do with how well you're "looked on".
