  Roy, a question. In a recent IRC conversation you mentioned that you were competing in some sort of fitness event. Is it OK for people to call that "cheesy" and saying something smart-alecky along the lines of "thanks for sharing"?

  I'm just wondering if people are free to refer to you and insult you as your friends and collaborators refer to and insult other people, especially when you seem to be asking them to create these "investigations". Can you please clarify?

  Are you denying that you asked 'twitter' to harass another Slashdot user?
  
  If that harassment also includes petty insults, is it OK for people to insult you as well? Is it OK for people to harass you?
  
  And I'm still waiting on the evidence of Gentoo User's trolling, insults and disruption wreaked upon your blog. 18th or 19th time I've asked, I think.

  Okay, now that's plain bulls#!t. I've been visiting this blog for quite a long while now, and I've never seen Roy attacking and smearing people at all, unless they attack him first.

  @Omar: It's quite possible that Ed Avis of Slashdot did something horrible to Roy, in which case I'd immediately ask for forgiveness. Maybe I'll even turn off my computer.
  
  But considering he hasn't replied yet other than to point out the obvious and skirt around the issues (as he likes to claim other people do to him), I'm kind of leaning towards "naaaah" at this point.
  
  So Roy, no response then? Should we consider my assumptions as being correct? You do for some reason sit there and ask your collaborators to harass people on other websites?

  Good job Roy! You think people aren't intelligent enough to figure out what happened? You've put yourself in the comic position of looking bad either way. If you claim you didn't ask twitter to do that, you're still guilty of notifying him that Gordon posted his comment, being obviously embarrassed by it and telling twitter to immediately get on IRC and pretend you asked for that nice piece of harassment. As if that made it any better. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
