IF one was to say that corporations don't belong in public interest groups, it would be deemed "offensive" by some. After all, "corporations are people," right?

The acquisitions and the infiltration attempts aren't new. In fact, it goes back to around half a decade ago when they bought some R-centric company, seeing R as a gateway to students/academia.
"It's not new but it is ongoing," our associate added. "The Linux Foundation is helping Microsoft carry out those attacks and is sponsoring events. I think most of the R community is aware of Microsoft though there is a push to undermine development there as well by pushing a Windows agenda sometimes." ⬆
