Techrights Videos Will be Back Soon
THE "Techrights Videos" started in December 2020 (second UK lockdown). Over time they improved in all sorts of ways, but the pipeline of publication involved Gemini, Bash scripts, Perl, and some WordPress syntax. Now that we've moved away from WordPress (as planned since summer 2022) and are still moving some bits and pieces around (bulletins still don't work; they too assume a WordPress workflow) we aren't prioritising the videos, at least not yet. First we want to make it easier to access the old (existing) ones and that can take time, especially as our wiki still needs converting to static pages.
Videos can help cover particular issues more quickly. WordPress is mostly a fatiguing user experience (more recent versions of WordPress are even worse in that regard). We want do publish video without any of the underlying complexity and this means changing some code. We'll be back to normal soon. █
