GNU/Linux and ChromeOS in Costa Rica: Over 4% Now

THIS month's statCounter data (ODF) shows us the growth of GNU/Linux as a Desktop/Laptop/Tablet platform in Costa Rica. Even if one ignores Android (44% of the Web market) and ChromeOS, GNU/Linux 'proper' has grown steadily in recent years:

Looking at desktops/laptops in isolation:

4.1% GNU/Linux and ChromeOS

Desktop (or Laptop) & Tablet & Mobile combined would be about 50% "Linux" if one counts 'Android Linux' as such, not only in Costa Rica but also worldwide. The corporate ("mainstream") media is intentionally ignoring this "story". █
