A Loss for Fake Security, a Win for Net Autonomy
Crucifixion of whole domains has been ramping up this past week; it's a cautionary signal (the water is almost boiling)
Over the past few days we watched the number of Gemini capsules that use the Linux Foundation's CA fall to 36 and then again to 35 (this morning). This exceeds our expectations. We hope to see it falling below 10 or at least below 20 by year's end.
Still well over 4,000 capsules (it's growing!) and watch the top one today:
Gemini Protocol became somewhat of a safe haven from the CA lunacy. This past week we saw the United States Government confiscating many domains. In the future they can muzzle them by dealing with CAs, instead. This is the future they envision for the Web. Don't play along. Don't wait until it's too late. █
