gemini.techrights.org and techrights.org (Same Server, Not the Same Protocol)
As just noted in the sister site, we're seeing some growing interest in Gemini Protocol and therefore today (overnight) we're doing some further work on the back end, enhancing and tidying up the workflows.
Social Control Media is generally a train wreck and we're thinking ahead. Gemini Protocol will never be as big as HTTP or HTML; but that doesn't matter because the objectives aren't the same.
We're meanwhile reminding readers that everything in this site is fully accessible via gemini.techrights.org in Gemini Protocol (gemini://). Of course techrights.org will continue to exist, but relying on a single protocol is generally not a good bet; we need to diversify and put the eggs in many baskets.
As a side note, we wish to congratulate Ryan (in our IRC community since 2008) and his husband Mandy. Yesterday Mandy was tentatively awarded or granted US citizenship. Congratulations! █
