Daniel Pocock Campaigns Around "Safety of Children Online" and "Cybersecurity"

It's Monday again. Just like last Monday, Pocock's name shows up in quite a few mainstream news sites. Today:

In a statement on his website, Pocock, who is a software engineer, is asking voters to read about his work on ethics in technology, safety of children online, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency and cybersecurity.

It speaks of "safety of children online" and "cybersecurity." Same as Andy this morning. Andy is also based in the UK but used to visit and teach in Finland.

There seems to be a growing 'coalition' in the UK based around important issues which impact the entire planet. Our government (new cabinet) is interested in some of these issues, based on our personal experience. We need to articulate these issues well enough to get elected officials and ministers in particular truly engaged. █
