Heck, removing Mono is dead easy, just fire up Synaptic, do a search on Mono, and select the "remove from hard drive" option. It takes 5 minutes at most.
However I'm going to complain - saying that GNote 0.3 is finally out is ridiculous. That implies that the project is moving slowly, while it is moving very fast indeed.

It wasn't meant to be interpreted in this way.

Is this guy reliable, or will this solution just mess it all up ?

Also, how can I get a real avatar on your site ? Thanks for your patience.
Ok, sorry for the dumb question, but how can I remove Mono from the new Ubuntu 9, without screwing it up ? I never used tomboy, and I can do without F-spot, of course.

for those who want the quick launch feature of Gnome-Do, I've been using Launchy for a year and perfectly happy with it.
Although Launchy doesn't have all fancy features as Gnome-Do, not depending on Mono is the absolute advantage that no features can compare to.
All signs indicate that Microsoft wants to "exit" the XBox business (not brand), but it does not want to publicly admit this as it would alarm staff and shareholders
Considering the huge proportion of Web requests that come from LLM bots (more so this past year or two), statCounter may struggle to justify the operating costs
The corporate media is projecting or signalling its own dishonesty when it tells us that Microsoft is a very "valuable" company while the data shows Microsoft is also a "market leader" in layoffs
For those of us who turned down those propositions there was a struggle; we needed to justify not having skinnerboxes or "social" accounts in some site run by a private company
In a lot of ways, so-called 'Vibe Coding' is already considered vapourware or a passing fad promoted in the media by managers who try to justify mass layoffs, especially ridding companies of "very expensive" software engineers
