Ben and Ben: Benalla and His Enabler, Beny Battistelli

Ben and BenSummary: The "partners in crime", Benalla and Battistelli, as outlined in our series of articles/posts/videos

IN OUR series of videos [1, 2, 3, 4] in which Alexandre Benalla speaks about his relationship with Battistelli and the European Patent Office (EPO), as well as in our "Benalla in prison" series (see part 1, part 2 and part 3), we have demonstrated the close ties and stressed the need for accountability. We've decided to post another articles index at the end, knowing that French media takes interest in it (some of the biggest networks in France do examine the evidence and contacted us for pointers). António Campinos would be wiser to -- of his own volition -- initiate a probe rather than have one imposed (by law) upon the Office. That would send a positive signal to staff.

Not only the EPO's own 'Benallagate' should be probed but also the Control Risks 'gate' (loosely connected to the above), which we covered in:

Additional articles about Benalla:

The 'militarisation' of the EPO is a new low for international institutions as a whole. The notion of diplomatic immunity is challenged by that. Not even Gurry/WIPO went as far as Battistelli/EPO did.

If some notorious bicycle tales are what it takes to give more than half a million euros to a serial liar (perjuries) like Benalla, a full financial audit is in order. How many more millions were stolen from the EPO? Or put in 'toxic' mortgages and the coffers of Battistelli's other employer? Shouldn't CEIPI too investigate? You cannot teach law when your chief is a serial law-breaker.
