Russia Loves Ukraine (Like Microsoft Loves Linux)
TODAY is not April first, nor is it January first. Using a sarcastic analogy where there's pain and grief may seem tactless and inappropriate, but bear with me. I want to make a point.
Caution: sarcasm ahead. If you cannot take or comprehend sarcasm, move on to the next post.
Microsoft obviously owns Linux. I mean, think about it.... Linux is written in C and parts of Windows are also C code. So why not simply accept that Windows is Linux and that Linux is thus "property" of Microsoft. Open the door, Jim (Zemlin). "Open Source loves Microsoft," right?
Oh, oops.

Microsoft loves Linux. Look at all the chairs it is occupying at the Linux Foundation - more than any other company as of 2023!

In Linux we have big distros and smaller distros, but Microsoft is vastly bigger (it's the world's largest), so what's the point antagonising it? Just bend over and let it buy/destroy all the distros, right? No point fighting Microsoft, just join Microsoft. Right, Miguel de Icaza?
Microsoft is not kidnapping children like Russia does. Oh, wait, Bill Gates will make headlines this month? For being hitched with trafficked underage girls or women who are not his wife?
Maybe Microsoft is not a friend of Linux after all. Don't listen to Mark Shuttleworth. Fight on. █
