"It's Obvious There's No Future For Any of Us from Blizzard at Microsoft"

Snow On Bushes

THIS month has been a very pleasant one, as GNU/Linux continued growing (more on that yesterday at the sister site [1, 2]), we've managed to cover EPO issues every day, and we didn't let trolls or vandals waste our time. IRC has been mostly calm and on-topic.

The rumours suggest that more Microsoft layoffs are on the way (layoffs are "growth", according to the XBox boss), but it's not clear yet which unit/department is next to be hit. We can only make guesses. Microsoft simply isn't selling much. It keeps talking about "Hey Hi" (AI) and "clown"... as in "the clown"... but what does that even mean? One refers to any service or server. The other is just some nebulous term about logic or a logical process... usually based on statistics.

The press continues to relay Microsoft lies, relying too much on Microsoft for "data", which is false or falsified [1, 2, 3].

If Microsoft's own numbers are factual (which they're aren't), then our associate said the company still gains a lot from proprietary file formats and control of said formats. "Missing, however, is the amount brought in through 'financialization' aka buying and selling shares of its own stock" (Ponzi scheme)....

Looking at the topics regarding layoffs at Microsoft, we now see the following new (and latest) thread:

It's obvious there's no future for any of us from Blizzard at Microsoft. This entire industry has gone to shitters. Now that we are all beholden to shareholders before anything else the future looks bleaker than ever. I truly hope more Larian Studios emerge in the coming years. Otherwise, the whole industry is sc--wed.

As per a leaked survey from Microsoft, "Most Microsoft Employees Want to Leave the Company If They Can Find a Job Elsewhere".

They probably know a lot better what's going on inside. If they leave, they're often gagged by NDAs. We saw media reports about those NDAs some months ago.
