The Li'l Ones in TTRPGs
I love designing and running fun house dungeons. Oddity and humour are just my brands when it comes to old school games. Oh, yeah, and also killing player characters. I have a reputation for that as well, but apparently not in a negative way because players keep coming back to my table again and again.

Moving fossils
Last weekend I moved my fossil repositories from the VPS to the RPi. It was not even very difficult, I only ran into one issue that turned out to be a non-issue. Paying attention to what you are doing certainly helps...
First I copied all the fossil files from the /srv/museum directory (fossils belong in museums) to my home laptop as a backup. Then copied them to the Pi.

Microsofter: What Gemini Gets Wrong With Anti-Extensibility
This author makes a great point about Gemini's solution to anti-extensibility, which is more restrictive in order to prevent future extensibility. What Gemini gets wrong is that this was not completely necessary, and that Gemini wasn't completely successful in restricting extensibility in the way that it intended, although it has hampered it a little. The biggest hamper seems to be mainly the community and not necessarily the protocol itself.

It's 3 Germinal, year 232.
Day of Asparagus in the rural calendar; I'm writing this at decimal time 5:77.
It's been about six months since my last gemlog entry. I tend to go through phases where greater intensity at work leads me to avoid spending too much effort on the personal computer. The last three or four months have been especially intense.
