Germany Transitioning to GNU/Linux
A FEW days ago TDF recalled that "the northern German federal state of Schleswig-Holstein has decided to move from Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office to GNU/Linux and LibreOffice..." (media coverage [1, 2]).
Having just taken a look at statCounter, the data about Germany shows Chrome peaking at new highs, Android rising to highest levels in years, and GNU/Linux+ChromeOS measured at about 6%.
Why aren't more German federal states following the footsteps of Schleswig-Holstein? Bribes disguised as Microsoft "investment" in "AI"? █
