GNU/Linux Reaches 6.5% in Canada (Including ChromeOS), Based on statCounter

SEEING these latest numbers (ODF) from statCounter, comparing them to the United States Of America at 11%, it seems like north America is a relatively fast adopter of GNU/Linux.

Before Chromebooks (Google's spying slant) GNU/Linux was measured (by statCounter) at around 0.7% in Canada and it took a while to get to over 7%. See below for a graph.

Not many news sites are left to cover this, let alone advocate for GNU/Linux. Linux.com is virtually defunct. █
