Short Downtimes, Planned Maintenance
OUR uptime has generally been close to 100%. Yes, we had the occasional short downtimes, but those are rare and typically short (only minutes long). Sometimes we need to patch and reboot (last reboot was 60 days ago). Some days ago a router needed replacing.
Hypervisor maintenance is planned some time in the coming days in Techrights and Tux Machines, so minute-long outages are expected. This maintenance will be most annoying to IRC users. But we can cope.
Second party for Tux Machines is due in 15 hours. 5 years ago we did that in the Spa at the Midland Hotel. This time it's a different place. So tomorrow will be another busy day "IRL". █
