Microsoft's "Results" Next Week Will be Ugly (But It'll Lie About Them, as Usual)
Where can Microsoft find income rather than losses as its debt continues to grow and layoffs accelerate?
MICROSOFT has no real plan. Nothing. Even when there's a global meltdown the company starts blaming everyone but itself - to the point of shifting blame to antitrust regulators and "Linux" (because Microsoft clients are fleeing; the customers in the area of desktops and servers both leave in droves, based on the hard data).
Is "hey hi" (AI) going to save Microsoft? If by this hocus-pocus we mean LLMs, then no, it's in a freefall (boredom and fatigue exhausted intrigue) and billions of dollars wasted on the hype still yield no returns, only greater losses. In over 100 countries (we estimate over 100) Bing lost share after the LLM hype. Here for example are Greece and Cyprus, respectively:
Bing down since the hype campaign. Not just in the examples above... but in about half of all countries.
If Microsoft claims that profits have risen, be very sceptical and ask, "WHERE IN"?
"Microsoft, the world’s most valuable company, declared a profit of $4.5 billion in 1998; when the cost of options awarded that year, plus the change in the value of outstanding options, is deducted, the firm made a loss of $18 billion, according to Smithers."
