What IBMers Say About IBM Causing IBMers to Resign (by Making Life Hard/Impossible) and Why Red Hat Was a Waste of Money to Buy
In their own words: (we have good reasons to suspect those are disgruntled insiders)
Around the same time somebody said: "There will be a cycle of punches to the employees and when the employees stick it out, they'll give RA's out.. Creating a toxic environment is cheaper if they can shed a few folks. Return to office, high average productivity levels, unrealistic expectations, etc."
"Board needs to replace Arvind with an outsider," another comment from around that time said, "as well as most of the executives that are bluewashed."
A comment left an hour ago says (about partnering with GAFAM), "oh how the once mighty have fallen ....IBM partnerships are a waste of time for any company who goes into them. IBM has no relevant money to speak off particularly with losers like Alvind and his obese lapdog Kavanaugh running the show."
Also about an hour ago: "There are better versions of LINUX than Red Hat out there...and they offer better value than the pathetic support you get from Red Hat. You pay for garbage. Expect this product to go the way of others and get sold to HCL like everything else. That's $32 billion down Alvind's toilet bowl."
Two hours ago somebody wrote: "IBM’s forced layoffs of over 20,000 U.S. workers in the past five years. The company wants to “correct seniority mix". Translation: only keeping the best, brightest, youngest (yes under 40 yrs old) and most essential positions. For most companies that is 5-10% of staff. CEOs to make millions off AI replacing most roles."
Morale at IBM is low.
Also, is POWER dead now? Many people predicted this would come. █
