Richard Stallman 'Unveils' His January 20 Talk in Montpellier, France
It's free (gratis)
This was published only about a day or hours ago:
It'll be 1:30 (PM) in the eastern coast of the US (ET). "The swearing-in ceremony [i.e. end of American freedom] is expected to begin around noon ET," according to media [1, 2], so Dr. Stallman's talk basically overlaps the "wrecker's" legitimisation festival.
Coincidence? Or "playful cleverness"?
Dr. Stallman's talk can be watched live here in YouTube. Some Invidious instances are not compatible with livestreams, so proprietary JavaScript might be required.
He was supposed to give a talk on May 15th, 2024 (in Paris, France). It got "postponed" until after he had left Europe. It was entitled "Logiciel libre et liberté dans une société numérique", so not the same as above. Were organisers contacted by the haters? People who foolishly accuse others of what they themselves are actually guilty of? █
Update
There will be a Free software-compatible stream at https://live0.emacsconf.org/rms-20jan25.webm.
That's according to an update:
