Articles Promoting and Celebrating Wayland Are LLM Slop
New example (100% slop):
Two months ago we saw Red Hat or IBM boot lickers using LLMs to promote Wayland, seeing there was a pushback as legitimate arguments were made by actual users of GNU/Linux, not executives at Red Hat (who are sometimes Microsoft operatives).
My wife has just noticed and alerted me that the above 'article' (typical specimen) from Linux Journal is fake.
It seems like cheating is a go-to tactic of Wayland proponents. If you cannot get enough writers to say good things about it, then get machines to generate words. That, in turn, gets fed back into LLMs (as "training set"). No wonder IBM fancies what it wrongly calls "AI" so much. █
