Many people out there 'feel' like there's something not right at Canonical, which is working hard to replace everything GNU and Free/libre with Microsoft GitHub (proprietary), based on a decision of people who specialise in spying on people.

If you want something that's sort of like Ubuntu but is not controlled by Canonical, then look into Linux Mint, Debian, or LMDE. █
