Slop About Slop and Slop About "Linux"
The Serial Slopper is still operating a slopfarm (after BetaNews booted him):
It's a mindless 'content farm' with slop about slop. The Serial Slopper helps a pyramid scheme.
Linuxiac is also becoming a slopfarm, following the trajectory of LinuxSecurity and Linux Journal.
All those sites will perish the moment everyone who visits them realises it's just a bunch of word salads. It's garbage, it lacks any merit or real value and it typically doesn't even convey true information, just recycled press releases from PR agencies and press releases. For instance, you might be told that a decade-long IBM CEO was actually in charge for 30 years. LLMs lie with great confidence. They lack the concept of a "lie"; they are just incapable of doing the task no matter how much in resources gets allocated.
In short, avoid slopfarms. Don't even give them any traffic. None. █
