More Confirmatory Rumours Regarding "Massive" Red Hat Layoffs
Ecosystem and sales said to be targeted

Some ~48 hours ago someone asked in public: "I hear about massive layoffs in ecosystem and also some in sales here in the EU. How do others see it? What is the strategy here? Do not suppose Andy is going to explain much next week in Vegas. He-l we will see how the event will look like, my ecosystem coleagues [sic] went got garden leave and had to cancel their flights. They just found out this week."
This pretty much overlaps what we heard from and about "sales" at Red Hat. Workers in the "more expensive" (salaries are higher) countries worry about their job, having heard all sorts of office gossip.
So far nobody at IBM or Red Hat did anything to refute or squash these rumours. There are meetings going on.
The other day we said, "Place Your Bets: Who Will Die First? Microsoft or IBM?"
To quote an associate, "Answer: IBM. The reason is because Microsoft will get yet another handout/bailout from the US government just in time to keep it solvent."
Microsoft has its share of problems as well. This was hours ago:

Microsoft wants cheaper workforce/labour that works for longer and is less likely to complain, unionise etc. █
