Last month we set up this new page about our commitment to courageous whistleblowers. We've since then received many more "scoops" and will soon start a seventh series to be run (or resume) alongside six others. Our reporting came at a cost because we receive death threats and this coming week a police investigator will approach us again with timely updates (the threats were not jokes). As we put this before, a side goal of ours is to improve the conditions for other investigative reporters who work independently and report fearlessly. Last week my wife and I spoke again to a few ministers; our aim is to illuminate the perils based on our personal experiences.
In the coming years we'll have some high-impact stories to share and generally tell without fear of reprisal. Our national interest is not nationalism, it is common sense. █
