Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Inaction and Incompetence - Part III - The SRA is Vastly Worse Than Brits Realise, We Have a "Wild West" in London
Later today we'll fully resume a series that began in March, resumed in July, and seems to be appropriate to go ahead with today, then run until next year. Our own experiences with the SRA are a cautionary tale for millions of Brits who interact with lawyers and are under the false impression those lawyers over overseen by a regulator or properly regulated to ensure they follow rules, protocols, ethics and so on.
As recently as 2 weeks ago likely unlawful secrecy demands were misused by hired guns in London against me. Of course we'll be covering this sooner or later.
When it comes to the "litigation industry" (based to a large extent around London), what we deal with is a "Wild West" in suits.
This sort of culture won't end until there is a proper regulator doing real regulation. The SRA isn't doing anything except time-wasting.
In the next part we'll begin looking at correspondence with the SRA. Unlike other complainants, we'll refrain from showing names of SRA staff. It's nothing personal, as I've repeatedly told them, so we'll keep it impersonal. █
