It's interesting to listen to that talk on Linux and 'Open Source'. Microsoft also managed to not mention the GPL. This is straight out of Microsoft: "Let's talk about open source, we get to define what open source is."

”They agree that Microsoft owns part of SUSE and Microsoft agrees to get paid in vouchers.“The strategy seems to be to marginalize GPL and replace it with IP compliant 'Open Source' -- a Novell-Microsoft Open Source.

I said this earlier, but the next strategy is for Microsoft to buy up an Open Source company and then start selling Microsoft Open Source. The Novell-Microsoft deal seems to be a precursor to that. How else do you explain their total mishandling of the deal? They agree that Microsoft owns part of SUSE and Microsoft agrees to get paid in vouchers.

Remember that Novell is talking to people in the business who assume they are listening to an unbiased view. From this, from other sources and the covenant, I'm afraid Novell has totally sold out.

Part of SUSE owned by M$. ROTFL! You'd be thrown out of any course in logic if you drew that from Novell paying royalties to M$. Seriously.

BTW, why should M$ not sell Linux? Great idea! That would make all their code ours! :p

Novell does not mind, so long as it get the 'privileges'. I'm going to post a detailed article that shows this later this week (hopefully). It's a leak.

Actually they pay for a guarantee that their customers won't get sued. It must be really hard to understand, measuring the inability of some to get this fact into their heads.
