APPLE'S opening of a jar of worms has led to reactionary lawsuits that sometimes trouble Apple and discourage the original strategists (those in favour of suing Android). Some of Apple's legal leadership has already left or was fired. We covered this at one time.
Motorola Mobility has won a second German patent ruling against Apple over its iCloud service allowing the company to block sales of devices including iPhone and iPad if they use the software that accesses it.
Apple was forced to remove several iOS devices from sale on its German online store on Thursday as a result of its patent battles with Motorola.
The iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 3G iPads are currently not available from the company's web store in Germany following a ruling in favour of Motorola relating to FRAND-pledged patents declared essential to 3G standards.
I like Apple products. God knows I own and use enough of them. But, I hate their out-sourcing business practices and their world-wide anti-Android lawsuits. So, when I learned this morning that Motorola Mobility had won a permanent injunction against Apple’s iCloud service in Germany because of a patent violation and Motorola had followed that up with another patent victory, which has forced Apple to take all its older phones, 3G and 4 and all iPads off its German online store (German language link), I was pleased.

As far as the German decision against Apple, it has already blocked the ban. We shall see how it goes in the long run.

Surely you mean more of your (and Apple's) lies. Clearly Apple has started all of this legal mess. Ironically, the mentally deranged Steve Jobs is the one who is truly guilty of plagiarism. And any sane person realizes Apple can't compete with non-existent innovation, thus must litigate to survive. It’s obvious!
Now you talk like if you had the high-moral ground. Great FUD attempt. Have you been indoctrinated by (or perhaps even work for) Apple?
The Reality Distortion Field has its limits.
Now for some independently verifiable facts, not wishes, or accusatory lies (like you and Apple does). No links = BS!
In Steve Jobs' madness (just google it) delusional and malicious claims that Android "Slavishly Copied" bla bla bla.
On the sole aspects of the EU Community Design Patent of the rectangular thin tablet vs. Samsung. Please explain this: How come Samsung was selling a tablet computer in 2006 which played music, videos, and pictures (aka iPod) that predates the introduction of the original iPhone in 2007, or original iPad in 2010? Yet the very same looking iPad2 in 2011 is supposedly the original?

The old adage the ‘best defense is offence’, is backfiring upon Apple. Especially when the accuser is itself guilty of plagiarism in the first place. Do you really think the general population is that stupid enough to fall for the Apple Kool Aid?
Regardless, just because Jobs said something, does not make it true, real, or legal. However, when a court of law of legal jurisdiction in Australia, Germany, Netherlands and the USA say there is no plagiarism, that becomes the legal and only truth. Not what your deity says.
Have we not been through all of this back in the days Steve sued Bill over the GUI? Have they not learned their lessons?

http://i.imgur.com/TmUj2.jpg http://goo.gl/S2AJR http://goo.gl/bWDs6 http://goo.gl/NjrfV I will grant that this is showing Samsung devices and not Android as much. While I have seen evidence of Android's plagiarism with my own eyes, I have no evidence as direct and powerful as that to show you - and so I acknowledge you can potentially make a counter to the claim. But your emotional reaction is not a valid counter - to the contrary it weakens your credibility. See above for Samsung devices before and after the iPad. If you have contrary *evidence* I am open to seeing it. That is not a tablet computer and is not relevant. There are many other devices which are black with rounded rectangles! Again: an emotional reaction from you. It is not of interest. Deity? Something being true because Jobs said it? More emotional reactions from you that have nothing to do with the discussion. Your emotional reactions are not of interest to me. As far as plagiarism, the courts have not even looked at that question - they have looked at specific patents (and often sided with Apple). The lesson that groups who plagiarize often succeed? Yes, that lesson had been learned. Roy has used that quote out of context many, many times. I see you wish to do the same. http://trw.gallopinginsanity.com/2011/09/08/apple There is nothing wrong with brining ideas from many disciplines together to make an excellent product. Why would there be? This does not excuse the insanity from Stallman nor the FSF. Jobs had elements of both. He certainly lead to massive innovation and changed the world, but he was also clearly a very, very flawed person.
