GNU/Linux Continues Its Rapid Growth in July, Today We Look at Belgium
A week ago: GNU/Linux Up to 4.4%, But Let's Think Beyond the Numbers
First, some good news: GNU/Linux is back to 4.4% today (globally, not counting Chromebooks). According to statCounter, GNU/Linux bounced back to 3% in Belgium, with Android highest in years and Vista 11 failing for it hasn't grown in a year (despite new PCs being saddled with it).
Again, a word of caution: statCounter isn't a perfect yardstick. It's far from that, but it is the best we have for publicly accessible figures of this kind. It does help show that over time the popularity of GNU/Linux grows, or at least it has become more ubiquitous in recent years. █
