SDxCentral, which the Linux Foundation Paid to Produce Marketing SPAM, Has Now Become Slop (LLM Spew) Disguised as 'Articles'
Google should delist it
The deterioration of the World Wide Web is very rapid, as is the demise of journalism online. Charlatans and unscrupulous opportunists accelerate this demise by drowning out real articles. Consider SDxCentral.
So-called 'AI' photo and what seems like a press release with permutations:
Notice the section/account name, as there's a lot more there with so-called 'AI' photos:
Running these through https://gptzero.me/ confirms they're not written by humans. They just spew out like a dozen slop pages per day, even on a Saturday (like shown above; mind the dates).
Here's one about Manchester University, dated Saturday:
100% slop:
The Linux Foundation and others used to pay SDxCentral for mindless spam or churnalism. Maybe that money wasn't enough for SDxCentral, so it's trying some experiment before just shutting down altogether. For some sites this is a last desperate attempt before throwing in the towel.
RIP, SDxCentral. You were never good anyone, merely a hub for corporate propaganda, sponsored by the companies you wrote about.
SDxCentral is now akin to an SEO spamfarm. Maybe they should hire Swapnil Bhartiya, whose videos are more than 95% bot-clicked (faking views) and site is just a "content farm" for corporate spew (iTWire became the same). These people call themselves "journalists"... █
