Red Hat Dumps "Inclusive Language", Puts "Master" In Official Communications and Headlines
Two days ago in the main Red Hat blog and feed:
Red Hat: you CANNOT say "master" (because it is racist). Also Red Hat: we put in it our headlines.
It certainly seems like Red Hat (IBM) cannot make up its mind. When we the community say "master" we're accused of perpetuating racism and rejecting "inclusive language".
Here (above) is Red Hat exempting itself, as usual. We showed many examples to the same effect. Lots and lots of examples. Apparently you can use "Racist Language" if you put a suit on and get a 6-figure salary from IBM. Then it's OK.
