New Year's Resolutions 4 Weeks Ahead of 2026

At the start of this year I made 4 resolutions connected to this site. One of them, for instance, was that "standalone" [Meme] posts would no longer be done as there's a need for some meaningful text, not just for GemText but also for readers who look for textual substance. But the main New Year's Resolution was... sleep.
I believe that some time around 2004 I made a habit of sleeping, on average, 6 hours per day. Or per night, or combined (e.g. 5 at night, then 1 for naps throughout the day). That ended about 12 months ago. I didn't quite realise how much life would improve with just a little more sleep. For instance, the frequency of my typos went down considerably (better mental focus) and my health improved. When I type text I usually get it right the first time (no typos to weed out with a second pass).
Despite making posts longer and better (as per the "4 resolutions" above), we've still managed to produce a lot of material. Both here and in the sister site it was a record year.
The New Year's Resolution (or Resolutions) for 2026 aren't decided yet and it's probably premature to make any promises or commitments because the last day of the year is exactly 4 weeks from now. Health focus would make sense; more sleep might also make sense, seeing that it didn't reduce output but helped improve it. I rarely feel tired anymore and I very seldom take naps. I can now read books without drowsiness.
Next year we'll have a lot of high-impact material to publish about EPO corruption. As it turns out, the existing EPO management - which insiders call "Mafia" - is eager to silence not only us but also the staff representation. This necessarily means we should strive to do more of what they don't want us (the "Mafia" hates it!) to persistently and insistently do.
"Illegitimi non carborundum," or "NIL ILLEGITIMI CARBORUNDUM," seem applicable here. ("Don't let the bastards grind you down") █
