Boosters of Omarchy Are No 'Underdogs'
Omarchy exercises the freedom to treat many human beings like disposable trash and to promote a scam (slop plagiarism)
As noted in Gopherspace today, Omarchy is bad for technical reasons, set aside the slop and the politics. We have repeatedly said the same thing for months already.
Omarchy is not interesting mostly because it's a pusher of a pyramid scheme and that has nothing to do with alleged funnelling of money (Miguel de Icaza has been publicly accused of libel for saying so). From a technical perspective, Omarchy offers nothing interesting, it's just riding Arch like Valve does (SteamOS) and adds some self-praising dog-whistles.
If you look for 'underdog' distros, look for something developed not by elitists and narcissists. There are many easy-to-use (and install) Arch derivatives that do not rely on "viral" marketing in MElon's child porn-pushing social control media and are instead relying on real development, not slop. █
