False News About False Microsoft Results

I HAVE JUST READ OUT loud some of the things covered here this morning in relation to Microsoft's so-called 'results' [1, 2, 3], the main reason being that persistent barrage of lies and defence of accounting fraud. We're seeing mindless hype and buzzwords, not actual reporting. To be clear, chatbots with voice synthesis are not "HEY HI" (AI), they are just chatbots and voice synthesis (CG); but the media is void of technical experts, it's just mindless bribed-for PR now. And instead of doing journalism and looking to validate the claims they just mindlessly parrot whatever the king of tax evasion boldly claims. Puppets, parrots, or investigators? Who are you and what are you?
One reader of ours has complained that NPR* says Microsoft has been "pivoting to AI". The reader says this is "touted as a success rather than a failed smokescreen" (and a source of endless losses; Microsoft isn't profiting from this).
Then there's the debt crisis.
"Microsoft is in deep shit now with the debt," Ryan said some hours ago in IRC. "Any corporate bonds they write will have to pay a lot of interest, so they'd be best off limiting the duration on them and praying that interest rates fall."
Somehow we're meant to think that a company so deep in debt is flourishing and is worth trillions of dollars, based on chronic and repeated accounting fraud. Microsoft is defrauding its own shareholders. There is no simpler way to put it.
If it takes the IRS several decades to catch up, can we truly expect the SEC to do much better rather than fold cheaply? █

* NPR or like we very much love to call sometimes, "BillPR", as in propaganda/PR apparatus for the Famous Criminal Bill Gates, who repeatedly pays NPR for bias. Microsoft bribes NPR, too. The "P" in there is "Public" as in Public Relations (PR).
