Bonum Certa Men Certa

LPI is Amplifying Microsoft Propaganda From Microsoft's ClearlyDefined (Vidal, GitHub, Proprietary) and OSI, Bribed by Both GitHub and Microsoft (Twice). The Claims (Cherry-Picking) Are Hostile Towards Copyleft, Which Microsoft Attacks Via Mass Plagiarism.

Ask Microsoft, repeat what Microsoft says: Vidal Howls for his masters. Salaried by Microsoft, Microsoft's GitHub. Written by Microsofter; Based on projects controlled by Microsoft.

They just love to tell us plagiarism is "AI" and GPL violations are just "creativity" of a machine. Microsoft pays them to say this and effectively attack copyleft, lobbying for Microsoft in the courtrooms under the guise of "Open Source" authority. They've sold out completely, even to their worst enemy.

LPI, which has cross-pollination with the Linux Foundation (and often cites its propaganda disguised as "research") is at it again, this time pointing to Microsoft as some kind of "truth". It says so assertively: "Overall, MIT and Apache 2.0 are the most popular licenses in terms of programming language, according to data from OSI’s ClearlyDefined project, reports Nick Vidal."

White Faced Whistling Duck

Of course they neglect to mention who pays Vidal's salary and where this data comes from. It's basically Microsoft, citing Microsoft, based on data supplied by Microsoft on code controlled by Microsoft. "FOSS Life" (LPI)... the voice of monopolies and openwashing. Proprietary is now "open"... just pay the endorsement fee.

OSI nowadays quacks like a Black Duck and other rogue organisations quack along. Ever wondered why so many people quit the OSI?

The OSI is even lying (if not defaming) to muzzle its critics.

When Simon Phipps ran the OSI he openly blasted Black Duck and turned down its money. Now, after Phipps accepted Microsoft's money, OSI is just another Black Duck. Phipps is a hypocrite and a sellout.
