Despite the Web's Demise We're Still Growing
OUR presence in Geminispace has truly paid off... it has been over three years.
Yesterday we served 6,571 pages over Gemini Protocol and the day before that 5,785. It's not a lot in relative terms (compared to the Web), but the requesters are tech-savvy and they have influence inside the tech industry.
We actually clocked 1.8 million hits in this site and its sister site yesterday, not counting Gemini; to the sister site we added 52 new pages in a day (not counting the updated pages; about a dozen of them) and here we added 16. The top/most viewed material is actually EPO coverage we've done lately and in the sister site it's lots of statCounter stuff at the top. The top 3 (around 2,000 views) are about Sweden, Ethiopia, and Asia.
The downside of growing popularity (bigger audience, reach) is that we'll become a more attractive target for trolls and vandals, who even attack family members when they cannot bait/provoke/demoralise the authors. █
